Terms of Service
Please review our booking guidelines and platform terms carefully. By reserving an appointment through probarber.nl, you agree to the following terms.
1. Appointments & Zero-Wait Policy
Pro Barber operates on a strict 1-on-1 appointment schedule to guarantee a zero-wait experience for all clients. Please arrive on time. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, the barber reserves the right to reschedule or cancel your session to protect the next client's scheduled slot.
2. Cancellations & Rescheduling Limits
You can cancel or reschedule your appointment via the secure links in your confirmation email or through the Gentleman Portal. Pending email requests must be confirmed within 10 minutes to lock your slot. Confirmed appointments may be rescheduled up to ten (10) minutes before start time (maximum two (2) times), and cancelled free of penalty up to twenty (20) minutes before start time. Cancellations within the final 20 minutes before start time are recorded as a late cancellation (no-show).
To protect dedicated chair time, attendance is automatically tracked. Accounts that fail to attend without timely cancellation are flagged in the booking system, forfeit instant-booking privileges, and must verify a valid phone number before requesting future slots.
4. In-Store Payments & Pricing
This online portal requires zero upfront online payments and processes no financial transactions. All payments for grooming services are completed directly in-store with the salon operator after your service via Cash, Contactless NFC (Apple Pay, Google Pay), or major debit/credit cards (Maestro, V Pay, VISA, Mastercard).
5. Salon Conduct & Right to Refuse Service
The studio maintains a calm, respectful, and hygienic environment. The salon operator reserves the right to refuse service to anyone behaving inappropriately, violating hygiene standards, or repeatedly disrupting the schedule.
6. Platform Ownership & Operational Liability Separation
The website probarber.nl, software source code, booking engine, UI design system, and registered trade names are the exclusive intellectual property of Wixxam Technologies (Amsterdam, Nederland • KVK: 42184184 • BTW: NL005564021837). Wixxam Technologies operates strictly as the technology and digital portal provider (WaaS/SaaS) and does not own, staff, or operate the physical barbershop premises. All in-store haircuts, shaving, grooming treatments, hygiene standards, and point-of-sale transactions at Waterlooplein 31 are performed independently by the participating local studio operator, who bears sole operational, professional, tax, and legal responsibility for all physical salon services.
7. B2B Advertising Network, Third-Party Referrals & Governing Law
Promotional banners or referral codes for third-party commercial or medical partners (including international hair restoration clinics) displayed on this digital platform are operated exclusively by Wixxam Technologies under its digital B2B advertising network, independent of the physical barbershop operator. Neither Wixxam Technologies nor the barbershop provides medical advice, diagnostics, or medical care. Any consultations, procedures, payments, or agreements with third-party partners occur strictly between you and that external provider, with zero medical, financial, or legal liability assumed by Wixxam Technologies or the salon. These Terms are governed exclusively by Dutch law (Nederlands recht), with exclusive jurisdiction vested in the competent court of Amsterdam (Rechtbank Amsterdam).
